The 2008 Harrogate Audi Harewood Hillclimb Championship consists of 8 rounds, with the best 6 scores counting.
Cars range from road going saloons, through sportscars to full blown single seater racers powered by F1 engines. A selection of championship competitor photos are shown.
Championship scores are based on class/bogey times, which levels the paying field between car types and power levels e.g. a Peugeot 205 GTi won in 2006 and a Mitsubishi EVO won in 2007.
In addition to the 8 championship rounds, there will be two other hill climbs - a Classic & Vintage event and an MSA British Championship round.
Visiting classes include bikes, MG, Ferrari, Porsche, TVR, Scimitar, Austin Healey, Caterham, Aston Martin and Ginetta.
There are excellent viewing facilities and spectators can get close to the trackside, cars and drivers.
Harewood Hillclimb is north of Leeds on the A659 between Harewood village and Collingham.
