Lightweight sports-racing cars of individual design. Can be home constructed.
750 Formula is for two-seater sports racing cars, introduced by the 750 MC in 1949, as its first racing formula. The regulations provide ample scope for the amateur to design and build his own car, and to develop his skills in chassis / suspension design and engine tuning within carefully controlled limits. There are two engine options, either the highly tuned Reliant 850cc or the unmodified Fiat 'FIRE' 1108cc, the latter introduced in 2003 due to the diminishing supply of spares or the Reliant engine. All cars run on a control Yokohama slick tyre.
