"CLASSIC TRIUMPH" 20 MINUTE MINI-ENDURO INVITATION RACE, Sunday 25th or Monday 26th May 2008 (TBC), Mallory Park, Leics.
This race is being hosted by JIGSAW Triumph Specialists of Desborough, Northants, as part of the Classic Sports Car Club 2 day race festival at Mallory Park, over the late May Bank holiday weekend.
The invitation race is open to all Classic Triumph models including: Spitfire, GT6, Herald & Vitesse, TR2-6, Dolomite Sprints & Toledos, 2000, plus other Triumph engined production cars from other manufacturers including Swallow Dorretti, Fairthorpe, Peerless, Warwick etc, (NOTE TR7 or TR8 models are not included), with the race organisers having the final decision over an individual competitiors entry.
Ideally all cars will be required to be of original silhouette, with original panels, engine & suspension components. If your car has non original panels, or an alternative mechanical specification, please contact the race organisers to ascertain your eligibility. All cars will be required to be of a high standard of presentation, and drivers behaviour on or off the track will be expected to be of the same high standard.
This race has been arranged to bring together a wide range and diversity of racing Triumphs, and Triumph engined production cars, with the view of offering a good value, high standard race, that is interesting both for the individual competitor and spectators alike.
