DescriptionThe Britcar Silverstone 24hr is on the 19th - 21st of September 2008 and promises to be another spectacular event.
The 2008 Britcar 24hr entries are now open and the grid spaces are starting to fill. We will be having 70 cars on the grid for the feature race this year with cars from Aston Martin, Jaguar, Porsche, Mosler, TVR, Honda, BMW and more.
Last years event was watched by over 600million people through the coverage on Sky Sports and the feature shown on Top Gear where the presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond and 'The Stig' drove their BMW to third in class running on Bio Diesel.
Large scale promotion is planned for the coming months to increase spectator attendance including local radio promotions, ticket offers and an event held in Milton Keynes at the Xscape complex in the week preceeding the race where there will be demonstrations from some of the competitors in their race cars and a host of trade stalls and ticket booths.
