The original LC470 prototype is now available for sale. This particular example has been photographed and track tested by Motor Trend, Road & Track and published in several European magazines. The LC470 was inspired by the beautiful aerodynamics and lines of the European race cars of the late 1950's. This intentional styling, coupled with modern design and materials, created a car that produces 0 to 60 in just 3.3 seconds and a 11.7 second quarter mile at 128mph. More surprising is the comfortable ride and manageable handling characteristics of such a fast and powerful car. In testing, it regularly pulled over 1 g of side load performance. This is mainly due to the exceptional design features of its unique chassis, and the 53% rear weight bias. Engineered to be maintenance (and headache) free, this car is meant to be driven.
