DescriptionThis is the car that Michael Symons and Andre D'Cruze have entered, and won many races with, in the Britcar and Dutch Supercar races for the past 5 years.
This car has been maintained and improved, regardless of cost, by ourselves, Geoff Steel Racing for the past 5 years. It has brought us many race wins and is only up for sale as the BMW V8 GTR is now in use.
Since its last race, in 2007, the car has had full engine and gearbox rebuild. Both have now done 3hrs (running in).
The spec is as follows:
Engine: E46 3.2 S54 M3 engine freshly built (Geoff Steel Racing) using Schrick camshafts (no VANOS), motorsport rockers, balanced bottom end, Arp bolts, etc. 400BHP. Carbon "Hammann" airbox.
Management: Fully adjustable "Nira Motorsport" ECU (fitted and mapped by Wayne @Chip Wizards)
Gearbox: Drenth DG400 6 speed sequential (3 hrs since rebuild)
Diff: 3.2 Evo, 3.6 ratio, Motorsport LSD.
Suspension: Proflex 3 way adjustable dampers, fully adjustable geometry, Eibach anti roll bars, alloy adjustable rear camber arms.
Brakes: AP 6 pot 356x32 floating front.
AP 4 pot 310x28 rear.
SRF racing brake fluid
switchable ABS.
Bodywork: "Evo" aluminium doors
Light weight fibreglass bonnet, boot, front and rear bumpers. Carbon Kevlar aerodynamic front splitter, carbon rear diffuser, 1996 BTCC rear wing. Polycarbonate front screen and side rear windows.
Fuel system: 120ltr carbon covered bag tank with dry break quick fill. Swirl pot, high pressure fuel system with adjustable fuel regulator.
