1. General Terms
1.1. MotorsportAds is a trading name of Motorsport Information Services Limited, company number 5807989, of Littlestead Green Farm, Row Lane, Dunsden, Reading RG4 9PX UK.
1.2. In order to advertise on or use MotorsportAds you agree to comply with and that you accept these Terms and Conditions
1.3. You agree to use your best endeavours to ensure that any ads placed by you are legal, honest, decent and truthful and represent the item or services you are describing as accurately as possible
1.4. All photographs loaded onto this website by advertisers must be copyright free or permission given by the photographer.
1.5. You agree not to use this site to send or receive, upload or download, or in any way transmit or publish any material that is offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene, or in breach of any person’s intellectual property rights or confidentiality.
1.6. MotorsportAds does not assume any responsibility for the content of ads on its website, the accuracy of the ads, the nature or quality of any items or services described therein, or for any loss or damage caused by any error or omission in the publication or display of ads.
1.7. Respondents to ads are strongly recommended to carry out their own verification of the quality, and accuracy of any description, of items & services.
1.8. MotorsportAds does not give any guarantee of volume or quality of response to ads placed on this website.
1.9 Trade advertisers must clearly indicate that they are so, by selecting "Trade Advertiser" when registering.
1.10. Advertisers are asked to remove ads immediately once the ad is no longer needed (eg item is sold, job is filled etc), in order to help maintain the quality of this website and its usefulness for others, and to reduce unnecessary enquiries.
1.11. MotorsportAds reserves the right to make any amendments it considers necessary or desirable to an ad and to require artwork or copy to be amended to meet its approval.
1.12. MotorsportAds reserves the right to modify amalgamate seperate and in any other way change the advertising categories it uses on its website where it deems appropriate. In such circumstances classified and display ads will, where necessary, be moved into new or revised categories.
1.13. MotorsportAds reserves the right to refuse or remove any ad that it considers unsuitable or inappropriate for this website, or in circumstances where the advertiser has breached or alleged to have breached any of these Terms and Conditions. In such circumstances, where applicable to a paid ad, refunds will be given at the reasonable discretion of MotorsportAds. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes refusal or removal of any ad which at its sole discretion MotorsportAds considers competitive to its own business activities.
1.14. MotorsportAds reserves the right to publish any part of any ads placed within its website within any of its marketing or promotional activities. The exact format and content of ads publised within MotorsportAds' marketing or promotional activities will be at the discretion of MotorsportAds and, whilst MotorsportAds will take exercise due care to ensure the content is error free, it cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in such activities.
1.15. There is no commercial relationship between MotorsportAds and the charities it supports, namely the Motorsport Safety Fund and the British Motor Sports Training Trust. MotorsportAds supports the work of these two charities and strongly encourages motorsport participants to make donations to one or both charities. There is however no obligation to make a donation and ads will be carried regardless of whether or not a donation is or has been made.
2. Specific terms
2.1. Classified Ads
Classified Ads will normally appear immediately the ad is placed and, where relevant, payment made. In certain circumstances ads may be referred to us prior to listing, in which case we will endeavour to respond within one normal working day.
Unless renewed, Classified Ads automatically expire six months after they are placed, or when de-activated by you if earlier. They are saved within your account and may be re-activated at any time.
Advertisers should aim to place their ad in the category most relevant to the ad content: MotorsportAds reserves the right to move an ad to what it considers a more relevant category without notice.
From time to time MotorsportAds may offer advertisers the opportunity to have their ad(s) publised elsewhere. The exact format and content of ads publised elsewhere will be at the discretion of MotorsportAds and, whilst MotorsportAds will exercise due care to ensure the content is error free, it cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in such advertising.
2.1.1 Free Ads
2.1.1.1 A maximum of ten Free Ads are allowed per person or organisation at any one time
2.1.1.2 Only one Free Ad may be placed per item or service for sale or wanted
2.1.1.3 References to websites, even where the reference is disguised, are not allowed within Free Ads except for ads in the Championship category.
2.1.1.4 Free Ads may be upgraded at any time to a Standard or Feature Ad on payment of the appropriate fee.
2.1.2 Standard and Feature Ads
We do not make a refund or provide credit in respect of any Standard or Feature Ad that is de-activated by you prior to the end of the period purchased.
2.2. Display Ads
Display Advertisers are asked to submit their Display Ad (in jpeg or gif format) together with the web address for links to display@motorsportads.co.uk. Once payment has been made, MotorsportAds will endeavour to incorporate a Display Ad within one normal working day of its receipt.
MotorsportAds reserves the right to modify amalgamate seperate and in any other way change the structure of display advertising it carries on its website where it deems appropriate. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes changing the size specification and exact location of specific display ad categories. In the unlikely situation that such changes adversely affect an advertiser, MotorsportAds will provide equivalent or better alternative advertising opportunities on its website, or provide a pro-rata refund,
2.2.1. Page, Side & Double Side Ads
These ads are purchased on a per classified ad category basis. At the end of the period purchased, and where that period is not extended by a further purchase, these ads will automatically be removed. In certain circumstances these ads may be purchased on a rotational basis which means that the ad will appear for that percentage of all viewings. For example a 10% rotation means that the ad is viewed 1,000 times per 10,000 page accesses
2.2.2. Main Banner Ads, Top Right Banner & Skyscraper Ads
These are purchased on a rotational basis. Rotational basis means that the ad will appear for that percentage of all viewings. For example a 10% rotation means that the ad is viewed 1,000 times per 10,000 page accesses. At the end of the period purchased, and where that period is not extended by a further purchase, these ads will automatically be removed
